In 2019, Destek Patent launched an awareness and training campaign under the slogan "OWN YOUR IDEA." As part of this corporate social responsibility initiative, free training sessions are provided to students, entrepreneurs, SMEs, technology transfer offices, as well as sector foundations and associations. Panitch Schwarze is a U.S. law firm that focuses on intellectual property (IP) law and related issues, including a large practice relating to plant IP rights. The team at Panitch Schwarze has deep knowledge of the horticulture, agriculture, and cannabis industries, including a strong understanding of the issues facing companies within these industries and how that impacts their IP goals and strategies. We assist businesses in these industries develop effective strategies for safeguarding, monetizing, and enforcing their IP rights, and then we take the necessary legal actions to put those strategies into action. We take the time to get to know our clients and their businesses, which allows us to determine what IP strategies to employ to help them reach their business goals, including decisions on what should be patented and trademarked and what should be maintained as trade secrets, as well as what type of licensing strategies to employ to best monetize their IP assets.
