April 14, Wellington - New Zealand Intellectual Property Office (IPONZ) has announced that all application for deadline extensions submitted before the Office in a timely manner will be treated favourably due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For urgent communications, the Office recommends using its online contact form.
Although IPONZ' responses to requests may be delayed due to the remote work of the Office, for the timely and properly filed requests all deadlines will be treated as having been conditionally met. The IPONZ' delay in processing will be taken into account if further action is required.
