CIOPORA will offer an International seminar on plant breeding and plant Intellectual Property during MyPlant & Garden International B2B Expo in Milan, Italy. The event will take place at 4-6 PM on February 24 in Hall 12 (AREA M48).
With presentations by CIOPORA's Dr. Edgar Krieger, Andrea Mansuino (Mansuino SLR), and Nicola Novaro (Law Firm Novaro), the seminar will outline how the interplay between innovation in breeding, plant IP, and horticultural economics contributes to the sector development. Speakers will elaborate on the regulatory mechanisms in the area of Plant Variety Rights (PVR) and offer insights into PVR enforcement. Practical examples will be given to further explore the theme.
