The CIOPORA Academy will make its debut in Asia, focusing on the key issues of Intellectual Property Rights for plant breeders in these markets. The workshop will be held on September 5 in Hong Kong, one day before Asia Fruit Logistica, one of the most important trade fairs for the fruit market.
Through five lectures and a panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the main challenges faced by breeders and companies when entering
the Chinese and other Asian markets. A noteworthy addition to The CIOPORA Academy Hong Kong is a panel discussion led by Alanna Rennie, examining the recent developments in Plant Breeders' Rights in select Asian jurisdictions.
"We recognize the significance of Asia, particularly China, for breeders, and within CIOPORA, we have members with extensive knowledge of these markets. The CIOPORA Academy Hong Kong offers our members and the industry a unique opportunity to learn from expert speakers, share experiences, and connect with other companies facing similar challenges," said Katrin Huhnholz, the Product Manager of The CIOPORA Academy.
The CIOPORA Academy Hong Kong also includes a networking dinner on the same evening, providing an excellent opportunity to foster deeper connections between speakers and attendees.
