On May 25, CIOPORA's Legal Counsel Micaela Filippo shared CIOPORA's insights on enforcement of Plant Breeders' Rights in asexually reproduced horticultural varieties at the webinar "Plant Variety Rights: Insights and Tips for Enforcers", jointly organized by the European Intellectual Property Observatory (EUIPO) and the CPVO.
The virtual event from the EUIPO's Tuesday Webinar series aimed at providing practical insights to facilitate the identification of counterfeit agricultural and vegetable seeds, ornamental and fruit imports into the EU. The total of 108 participants from 22 countries participated in the webinar.
